The standard cosmological model ($\Lambda$-CDM) predicts that galaxies are built through hierarchical assembly on cosmological timescales$^{1,2}$. The Milky Way, like other disc galaxies, underwent violent mergers and accretion of small satellite gal

The space-borne missions CoRoT and Kepler have revealed numerous mixed modes in red-giant stars. These modes carry a wealth of information about red-giant cores, but are of limited use when constraining rapid structural variations in their envelopes.

[Context] The Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) is observing bright known planet-host stars across almost the entire sky. These stars have been subject to extensive ground-based observations, providing a large number of radial velocity mea

Asteroseismology uses stellar pulsations to probe the stellar interior. Those pulsations are sensitive to rapid variations on the stellar structure known as glitches. Here we present a program to easily add and remove buoyancy glitches in an existing

The characterisation of stellar cores may be accomplished through the modelling of asteroseismic data from stars exhibiting either gravity-mode or mixed-mode pulsations, potentially shedding light on the physical processes responsible for the product

The internal working of low-mass stars is of great significance to both the study of stellar structure and the history of the Milky Way. Asteroseismology has the power to directly sense the internal structure of stars and allows for the determination
