Dislocation motions are studied in NaCl crystals exposed to an EPR impact under crossed ultralow magnetic fields, the Earth field BEarth ∼ 50 µT, and the AC pumping field B̃(ν) of the amplitude 2.5 µT in the frequency band of 6 kHz to 2.1 MHz.

Studies on α-nickel sulfate hexahydrate (NSH) crystals grown under different conditions are undertaken to investigate how changes in growth conditions affect crystal properties and whether or not there is any modification of the average crystal stru

K2Ni(SO4)2 · 6H2O (KNSH), K2Co(SO4)2 · 6H2O (KCSH), and K2NixCo(1 – x)(SO4)2 · 6H2O (KCNSH) crystals have been grown by traditional and accelerated techniques. The microhardness and crack lengths were measured by indentation with a Vickers pyram

The threshold of the magnetic effect on the microhardness of potassium dihydrogen phosphate (KDP) crystals has been found. It was previously shown that the preliminary exposure of such crystals to a magnetic field B for time tm changes their microhar

The microhardness and thermal stability of mixed K2CoxNi1–x(SO4)2 · 6H2O crystals have been studied for the {110} and {001} growth sectors. Maxima of the onset temperature of dehydration have been found at x ≈ 0.1 and x ≈ 0.9. The structure of

It has been shown that potassium dihydrogen phosphate crystals change their microhardness reversibly after their exposure to a magnetic field of B = 0.8 or 1.2 T for tm = 7–90 min. It has been found that the magnetic effect can be conveniently char

It is shown that the preliminary exposure of ZnO, triglycine sulfate, and potassium hydrogen phthalate crystals in ultralow crossed magnetic fields—Earth’s magnetic field and ac pump field—leads to a resonance change in their microhardness. The

The microhardness and thermal stability of K2Co x Ni1– x (SO4)2 · 6H2O mixed crystals have been investigated. Microhardness peaks and dehydration onset temperatures are found in the composition range x = 0.05–0.23. The observed anomalies of prop
