A giant negative magnetoresistance (24% in a magnetic field of 30 kOe) has been found in the antiferromagnetic semiconductors x CoCr 2 S 4 -(1 − x )CuCr 1.5 Sb 0.5 S 4 (0.25 ⩽ x ⩽ 0.5). Magnetoresistance is practically absent in CuCr 1.5 Sb 0.5
