Le memoire discute les possibilites de mesomerie et de tautomerie de la structure attribuee par H e s s a la pelletierine. On a obtenu une premiere indication pour le fait que dans la pelletierine une structure bicyclique peut jouer un rǒle.

By the action of acetic anhydride on lithium picolyl 1-(2-pyridyl)-propanon-2 is prepared; by partial reduction of this compound 1-(2-piperidyl)-propanon-2 or dl-isopelletierine is obtained.
