We report measurements from CLEO detector of the rate of ..xi.. and ..lambda.. production in e/sup +/e/sup -/ interactions in the upsilon region. Hyperon production from the decay of the UPSILON(1S) is compared with continuum e/sup +/e/sup -/ data. T

Using the CLEO magnetic detector at the Cornell Electron Storage Ring, we find B(UPSILON(2S)..--> mu../sup +/..mu../sup -/) = 0.018 +- 0.008 (statistical) +- 0.005 (systematic) and B(UPSILON(2S)..-->..tau/sup +/tau/sup -/) = 0.017 +- 0.015 +- 0.006.
