The time differential perturbed angular distribution technique has been applied to studies in synthetic diamond grown by the chemical vapor deposition method. It was found that the 19 F nuclear probe used occupies only one characteristic lattice site

TDPAD studies of19F recoil-implanted into (natural) diamond, show not less than three characteristic sites populated by19F in the diamond lattice. Two are distinctive lattice locations, but the third is identified as having a broadly distributed and

Diamond, both natural and metastable as well as stable growth synthetic, is a material of particularly attractive physical properties. In the characterization of diamond, light volatiles appear to play a significant role both in the determination of

Time dependent perturbed angular distribution (TDPAD) measurements have consistently revealed two unique sites for recoil implanted 19F in different types of natural diamonds. These correspond to quadrupole coupling constants of 63(2) and 56(2) MHz.

The electric field gradient parameters in insulating and semiconducting diamond, types IIa and IIb respectively, were measured as a function of temperature at residence sites of recoil implanted 19 F by using the time-dependent perturbed angular dist

The ubiquitous use of ion implantation and the simultaneous interest in the emplacement of selected impurities in the matrix of choice bring added emphasis to the need for a quantitative understanding of the residence sites adopted by such imputities

Perturbed Angular Distribution measurements have been made on natural diamond using recoil implanted fluorine ions as probes. Two distinct lattice sites for fluorine in diamond were found. Site identifications prompted by theoretical cluster calculat

The experimental measurement of the perturbed angular correlation (PAC) of radiation emitted from probe nuclei implanted in a host lattice is becoming an increasingly important analytical technique. Most recent measurements have involved single cryst

HunY et al. (~) introduced a paramctr izat ion system for the description of angularcorrelation measurements following (d, py) str ipping reactions. Although it was mainly used in the context of spin-independent distorted-wave Born approximation (DWB
