Cathodoluminescence is used to measure the recombination velocity of the heterointerfaces between Cu2ZnSnS4 (CZTS) and CuxSnySz, SnS secondary phases precipitated along the grain boundaries as well as ZnS precipitated within the CZTS grain interiors.
