Advanced ab initio treatments reveal several stable atmospherically relevant complexes of IO with N2, CO, CO2 and H2O and show that the I-bonded complexes are more stable than the O-bonded ones.

Iodine oxide (IO) is an important tropospheric molecule. In the present paper, we mapped the potential energy surfaces (PESs) of the doubly degenerate IO(X-2 pi)-Ar van der Waals system using single- and double-excitation coupled cluster approaches w

We present a theoretical study of the ground electronic state potential of the Ca+Ar2 complex and of its photoabsorption spectra, simulated at temperatures ranging between 20 and 220 K. These calcu...

In this work, we investigate the minimal energy and low-lying isomers of the ground state of NOArn clusters using a hybrid pseudo-potential model, where a single electron quantum description is com...

The structure and stability features of Na+Xe n (n ≤ 54) clusters are theoretically investigated via model potential energy surfaces (PES) and unconstrained global optimization. The potential energy is described in terms of pair-additive potentials
