Products of the reactions of l-ephedrine and d-pseudoephedrine with saturated and unsaturated alkyl halides and carbon disulfide in the presence of triethylamine were obtained. Methyl N-l-ephedrinodithiocarbamate was studied by X-ray diffraction.
