We have used an extreme environmental stress test to study the adhesion of a thin sputtered copper film (0.5 μm) to flexible polyimide (PI) substrates between 25 and 125 μm thick. The polyimide types include Kapton (PMDA-ODA) and Upilex (BPDA-PDA).

We have studied the adhesion-promoting layer of a composite interface consisting of alumina, 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (APS), and polyimide (PI) reactants. The aminosilane appears to exist as a submonolayer and is 15N isotope-enriched, which rende

Caches are commonly used in DSP architecture, as an alternative for fast on-chip memory, to improve performance by reducing the average memory access latencies. In this paper we propose a new approach for instruction cache performance enhancement, ut
