A Raman and IR study of captopril (CpSH), a synthetic derivative of l -proline, and the Cu(II)–CpSH system at different pHs and metal/ligand ratios was carried out. The vibrational spectra suggested disulphide formation (CpSSCp) by the reduction of

We report on the magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) characterisation of different human meningiomas. Three histological subtypes of meningiomas (meningothelial, fibrous and oncocytic) were analysed both through in vivo and ex vivo MRS experiments.

The HR-MAS is an ideal technique for the investigation of intact tissue specimens (10–50 mg) and permits the obtainment of spectra with a resolution comparable to that observed in solution in a time that does not exceed a half of an hour for a rout
