Antipodes of large basins on the moon exhibit large areas of crustal magnetism. Here, the authors show that antipodal ejecta contains sufficient impactor material to explain the observed magnetization.

The Moon presently has no dynamo, but magnetic fields have been detected over numerous portions of its crust. Most of these regions are located antipodal to large basins, leading to the hypothesis that lunar rock ejected during basin-forming impacts

The Moon does not currently possess a dynamo, but its crust contains numerous magnetic anomalies detected from orbit. The geologic origins of these anomalies are still unknown, including the archetypal Reiner Gamma magnetic anomaly. To gain insight,

This chapter focuses on APE1 (AP endonuclease or redox factor 1; APE1/Ref-1, Ref-1 or APE1), which has multiple functions in DNA repair, transcriptional regulation, and RNA processing. APE1 is the endonuclease in base excision repair and also a major

The two major explosive phases of the 22–23 April 2015 eruption of Calbuco volcano, Chile produced powerful seismicity and infrasound. The eruption was recorded on seismo-acoustic stations out to 1,540 km and on 5 stations (IS02, IS08, IS09, IS27,

The Moon once possessed a dynamo that produced numerous magnetic anomalies in the lunar lithosphere. Determining the ages and magnetization strengths of these anomalies would constrain the timing and strength of the dynamo. Unfortunately, most anomal

An immunomodulatory role for LHRH was suggested when we reported the presence of immunoactive and bioactive LHRH and its mRNA in rat splenic and thymic lymphocytes. In this paper we report that human peripheral T-cells as well as its subsets CD4+ and
