Between 1984 and 1988, 827 patients with cervical cancer, most of them with stage T2 (46%) and T3 (45%) of disease, were irradiated. Postoperative radiotherapy was performed in 276 patients, most of them with stage T2 cervical cancer, with 40-60 Gy.
