For corneal confocal microscopy (CCM) we use the Heidelberg Retina Tomograph (HRT) and the Rostock Cornea Module (RCM; both Heidelberg Engineering GmbH, Heidelberg, Germany). A modification of the HRT software enables the recording of focal image sta
