We prove that there are no regular algebraic hypersurfaces with non-zero constant mean curvature in the Euclidean space $\mathbb {R}^{n+1},\,\;n\geq 2,$ defined by polynomials of odd degree. Also we prove that the hyperspheres and the round cylinders

Let $(M,g)$ be a compact smoothly stratified pseudomanifold with an iterated cone-edge metric satisfying a spectral Witt condition. Under these assumptions the Hodge-Laplacian $\Delta$ is essentially self-adjoint. We establish the asymptotic expansio

Let $L$ be a self-adjoint invertible operator in a Hilbert space such that $L^{-1}$ is $p$-summable. Under a certain discrete dimension spectrum assumption on $L$, we study the relation between the (regularized) Fredholm determinant, $\det_{p}(I+z\cd

The goal of this paper is to study Yamabe flow on a complete Riemannian manifold of bounded geometry with possibly infinite volume. In the case of infinite volume, standard volume normalization of the Yamabe flow fails and the flow may not converge.

Radiologists should be familiar with the main techniques of knee cartilage repair and the imaging methods available for its evaluation, in order to optimize the postoperative follow-up of patients. The objective of this study was to present a series

We give a closed form evaluation of the zeta determinant of the Laplace operator on spheres and projective spaces that clearly describes the arithmetic structure of this number. All the factors in the final formula for the determinant are easily comp

The aim of this work was to evaluate mass loss in each stage of the recycling process for metal recovery from PCBs of controllers and temperature indicators of cold chambers. The stages of process consists of grinding, particle size classification, m

We present a homological version of the Inverse Mapping Theorem for open and discrete continuous maps between oriented topological manifolds, with assumptions on the degree of the maps, but without any assumption on differentiability. We prove that t
