A factorial design was used to evaluate the effects of processing variables on the morphology and microstructural characteristics of titanium dioxide (TiO2) fibers produced by solution blow spinning (SBS). For this, tests were carried out varying TiO

The novelty of this work is the production of nano- and submicrometric silica and spinel-ferrite fibers using the solution blow spinning (SBS) method. A pseudo-core-shell method for the production of large surface area silica fibers is also reported.
