We report on the combination of a Terawatt Ytterbium laser delivering 515mJ 435fs at 50Hz, and a Ti:Sa laser delivering 4mJ 90fs at 1kHz, synchronized with 3.2fs relative jitter, ideal for THz Pump-XUV probe experiments.

We have developed a high energy picosecond laser based on a diode-pumped Cr:LiSAF oscillator and Ti:Sapphire amplifiers. This system produces transform limited 100 ps pulses at 846 nm with an energy of 100 mJ at 10 Hz repetition rate.
