We examined removal of cyclobutane pyrimidine dimers (CPDs) from the dihydrofolate reductase (DHFR) gene in ultraviolet-irradiated Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) UV61 and UV5 cells. The sensitivity of UV61 cells to UV-irradiation is intermediate between
