Using laboratory data and a novel address matching methodology, we identified 734 cases of coronavirus disease in 88 prisons in England during March 16–October 12, 2020. An additional 412 cases were identified in prison staff and household members.

Abstract Background Health needs and access to health care is a huge challenge in developing countries, especially in some isolated indigenous communities. Amantani is an island located at 3854 m above sea level in Lake Titicaca, Peru. There is no of

Tuberculous meningitis (TBM) is the most lethal form of tuberculosis. The incidence and mortality of TBM is unknown due to diagnostic challenges and limited disaggregated reporting of treated TBM by existing surveillance systems. We aimed to estimate

Computer simulations allow us to explore non-perturbative phenomena in physics. This has the potential to help us understand quantum gravity. Finding a theory of quantum gravity is a hard problem, but, in the last several decades, many promising and

We explore the geometric implications of introducing a spectral cut-off on compact Riemannian manifolds. This is naturally phrased in the framework of non-commutative geometry, where we work with spectral triples that are truncated by spectral projec

The $2$d orders are a sub class of causal sets, which is especially amenable to computer simulations. Past work has shown that the $2$d orders have a first order phase transition between a random and a crystalline phase. When coupling the $2$d orders

In the approach of Causal Dynamical Triangulations (CDT), quantum gravity is obtained as a scaling limit of a non-perturbative path integral over space-times whose causal structure plays a crucial role in the construction. After some general consider

A finite non-commutative geometry consists of a fuzzy space together with a Dirac operator satisfying the axioms of a real spectral triple. This paper addreses the question of how to extract information about these geometries from the spectrum of the
