An acid polysaccharide, named HP, was produced by endophytic Penicillium javanicum MSC-R1 isolated from southern medicine Millettia speciosa Champ. The molecular weight of HP was 37.8 kDa and consisted of Ara f, Galр, Glcр, Manр, and GlcрA with a
