We have purified a novel caffeoylquinic acid named 3,4-di-O-caffeoylquinic acid isobutyl ester from the flower buds of Lonicera japonica Thunb., Caprifoliaceae. However, the biological function of 3,4-di-O-caffeoylquinic acid isobutyl ester is still
