An investigation of the Q-factor of an adjustable HTSC circuit in the 8-32 MHz range is carried out. The loss mechanisms are considered, and the mechanisms responsible for the observed behaviour of the Q-factor are determined.

The opportunity of fabrication of the high-quality (Q /spl sim/ 10/sup 5/) circuit mechanically tuneable in a wide frequency range for MHz applications is considered. The tuneable circuit consists of two single circuits made on YBaCuO films.
