First, the kinetics of low-temperature ozone decomposition by basalt tuff anchored chloride complexes of Cu(II), Co(II), and Mn(II) have been studied. It has been found that the catalytic activity of the complexes increases in the following sequence:

Protolytic properties of natural sorbents having different chemical and mineralogical compositions have been studied. The sorbents can be used for the development of metalcomplex catalysts for ecological purposes.
