The observations of R Aqr from the AFOEV database are analyzed. The corrected value of the period P = 387509 ±0.029d was determined from a 5-th order trigonometric polynomial fit with a corresponding initial epoch for the maximum To =244473376 ±0.9

Analysis of the spectral sensitivity of the CCD camera ST-4 is presented. The half-maximum sensitivity range is 685930 nm. Mean wavelengths λ1 = λ = 796 nm, and λ 2 = (λ -1)-1 = 730 nm are measured. Eclipses of PX And were detected at HJD 48861.3

Results based on 16 nights in B, 3 in UBV and 1 in UBVRI are presented. Periodograms for detrended nightly runs showed significant peaks at different frequences from 28 to 103 c/d. Most prominent of them correspond to the best fit periods 23.7, 15.2,

Results of the analysis of the characteristic time scales using the periodogram, scalegram and the wavelet analysis are compared for 173 stars most actively observed by the members of the AFOEV and VSOLJ. The periodogram analysis is more effective fo
