Experiments were conducted on 47 mongrel dogs with the limb reperfusion syndrome (RS) to study the effect of prostaglandins (PG) E2 and F2 alpha on changes of hemodynamics and some values of adrenergic reaction induced by norepinephrine injection. In

In 18 dogs, blockade of M-cholinoreactive formations enhanced the pressor effect of prostaglandin F2 alpha as revealed by a significant increase of peripheral resistance and reduced venous pressure, systolic and circulatory volumes.

The alpha- and beta-adrenoceptors were found to strengthen a depressor effect of prostacyclin and to increase the heart rate in dogs. The blockade of M-cholinoreactive structures increased the systolic volume alone.

Cardiovascular effects of prostaglandin F2 alpha were studied upon noradrenaline (NA) injection. The injection of PGF2 alpha alone to control dogs reduced systolic volume and cardiac output, increased total peripheral resistance, and elevated the art

Repeated administration of the kinin-active and kinin-inhibiting agents induced a paradoxical response to noradrenaline in the pancreatectomized dogs: the kallikrein did not essentially change the pressor effect and weakened the cholinergic component
