The structure of water, especially around the solute is thought to play an important role in many biological and chemical processes. Water-peptide and cosolvent-peptide interactions are crucial in determining the structure and function of protein mol

Physicochemical properties of diethylammonium (DEA)-based protic ionic liquids and their aqueous solutions were obtained using experimental measurements of density (ρ) at different temperatures from T = (293.15 to 313.15) K and the speed of sound (w

The significant considerations have centred on the utilization of the bio-ionic liquids as green solvents to replace or minimize conventional environment-harming organic solvents. Ionic liquids have many remarkable environment-accepting properties su

Amino acids ionic liquids (AAILs) have huge potential applications in the green chemistry, as these are synthesized from the naturally occurring 20 amino acids and having strong hydrogen bonding ability, hydrophobic tuning, biodegradability, low-toxi

The triethylammonium-based carboxylate protic ionic liquids (PILs) are called as truly bio-ionic liquids. They can be used as green solvent, additives (biphasic catalysis) and for other considerable effects involving nano-material specially related t

The densities of glycine based peptides namely glycyl-glycine (digly), glycine-ւ-valine (gly-val), glycyl-ւ-leucine (gly-leu) and glycyl-glycyl-glycine (triglycine/trigly) in aqueous solutions containing ~0.20 mol·kg−1 of triethylammonium acetat

We report the synthesis of two protic ionic liquids (PILs) through atom–economic neutralization reaction between alkylamine (diethlyamine (DEA) and triethylamine (TEA)) and nitric acid. The product ionic liquids are characterized by 1H NMR spectra.
