Boron-doped ZnO (BZO) films were deposited by low pressure chemical vapor deposition (LPCVD) on glass substrates with tin-doped indium oxide (ITO) buffer layers varying from 0 to 100 nm in thickness. The effects of ITO thickness on the structural, op

The hydrogenated amorphous carbon (a-C:H) films on indium tin oxides (ITO) glass treated with Argon plasma beam scanning exhibited liquid crystal (LC) alignment. No apparent microgrooves appeared on the as-scanned a-C:H film surface observed by atomi

Argon (Ar) plasma beam scanning treatments were applied to modify the surfaces of polyimide (PI) films deposited on indium tin oxide glasses in favor of liquid crystal (LC) alignment. LC cells were filled with twist nematic LC (ZLI-2293) on the PI fi

Diamond nanotips were synthesized on diamond/Si substrates by using a microwave plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition process. The diamond nanotips are ~1??m in height and the diameter at the bottom of a nanotip is ~200?nm. The as-grown diamond n
