Endoscopic ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration (EUS-FNA) technology is widely used for the diagnosis of pancreatic masses. However, in some cases, inadequate tissue volume or difficulty of morphological diagnosis are constraining factors for ade

Hibernoma is a rare benign tumor considered to arise from remnants of fetal brown adipose tissue. It tends to occur in sites where brown fat persists beyond fetal life, such as the interscapular region, but can occur in sites where brown fat is usual

Background Liquid-based cytology (LBC) is a widely used method for processing specimens obtained by endoscopic biopsy. This study evaluated next-generation sequencing (NGS) analysis of LBC specimens to improve the diagnostic accuracy of pancreatic le

Background: Since circulating tumor cells (CTCs) are precursors of metastatic lesions, extracting CTCs from whole blood is useful in obtaining information for cancer treatment. One of the CTC extraction methods is the size selection method; however,

We report highly anisotropic appearance of the quantum Hall effect (QHE) in epitaxial single-layer graphene grown on a vicinal SiC(0001) substrate. Well-developed QHE with zero resistance manifests itself for the current along the steps, whereas the

Few-layer epitaxial graphenes grown on vicinal 6H–SiC (0001) were characterized by confocal Raman imaging. In the beginning of the growth, the surface of SiC substrate was covered with monolayer graphene. Next, few-layer graphenes started to grow t
