BACKGROUND/AIM Small-cell lung cancer (SCLC) remains one of deadliest types of cancers. Cis-diamminedichloroplatinum (CDDP) is a key chemotherapeutic agent for SCLC, however, its therapeutic effect is limited. Recently, hypoxia in the cancer microenv
