An outbreak of the fish-ectoparasitic marine isopod Caecognathia coralliophila (Monod, 1926) occurred in a fish hatchery in Sabah on Borneo Island, Malaysia. Larval stages of gnathiid isopods are parasitic on fish whereas their adult stages are free-
