In this work, we explore the dynamics of time varying photonic media with an optical Kerr nonlinearity and an associated phase transition. The interplay between a periodically modulated permittivity and the nonlinearity induces a continuous transitio

This letter establishes a Floquet engineering framework in which coherent high frequency light with a time dependent amplitude can be used to parametrically excite and amplify THz plasmons, mirror plasmonic wave packets in time, generate momemtum-gap

We propose a method to parametrically excite low frequency collective modes in an interacting many body system using a Floquet driving at optical frequencies with a modulated amplitude. We demonstrate that it can be used to design plasmonic time-vary

We develop a Fokker-Planck theory of tissue growth with three types of cells (symmetrically dividing, asymmetrically dividing and non-dividing) as main agents to study the growth dynamics of human cerebral organoids. Fitting the theory to lineage tra

Using a hydrodynamic approach, we show that charge diffusion in two dimensional Coulomb interacting liquids with broken momentum conservation is intrinsically anomalous. The charge relaxation is governed by an overdamped, superdiffusive plasmon mode.

On 23 July 2016 after 05:00\,UTC, the first 48-antenna stage of the Siberian Radioheliograph detected two flares of M7.6 and M5.5 GOES importance that occurred within half an hour in the same active region. Their multi-instrument analysis reveals the

We study the response of a Dirac fluid to electric fields and thermal gradients at finite wave-numbers and frequencies in the hydrodynamic regime. We find that non-local transport in the hydrodynamic regime is governed by infinite set of kinetic mode

We show that hydrodynamic collision processes of graphene at the neutrality point can be described in terms of a Fokker-Planck equation with fractional derivative, corresponding to a L\'evy flight in momentum space. Thus, electron-electron collisions
