UNiZn is the first Zn containing U TX ternary with the ZrNiAl structure type. Zn is smaller than other p -metals (Al, Ga, Sn, In) forming this type of structure. This compound can be seen as analogous to UNiAl and UNiGa, but the small X ligand leads
