Magnetic-field-induced domain reversal mechanisms of antiferromagnetic (AF) NiO thin films are investigated by spin Hall magnetoresistance (SMR) measurements. The field strength dependence of SMR amplitudes is measured in epitaxial and polycrystallin

Antiferromagnets having negligible net magnetization but a topologically nontrivial spin structure are a good testbed for investigating the intrinsic anomalous Hall effect (AHE). In this Letter, we explore L12-ordered Mn3Ir thin films, which are one

Spin Hall magnetoresistance has been used to probe magnetic moments in magnetic insulator/heavy metal thin films. Here we explore the magnetic field-dependent magnetoresistance and the temperature-dependent magnetoresistance in a Pt/CoO/Pt trilayer n
We investigated the temperature dependence of the magnetic damping in the exchange biased Pt/ Fe50Mn50 /Fe20Ni80 /SiOx multilayers. In samples having a strong exchange bias, we observed a drastic decrease of the magnetic damping of the FeNi with incr

For a long time, there were no efficient ways of controlling antiferromagnets. Quite a strong magnetic field was required to manipulate the magnetic moments because of a high molecular field and a small magnetic susceptibility. It was also difficult

Spin interaction in antiferromagnetic materials is of central interest in the recently emerging antiferromagnetic spintronics. In this Letter, we explore the spin current interaction in antiferromagnetic FeMn by the spin pumping effect. Exchange bias

An X-ray tomographic technique was developed to investigate the internal magnetic domain structure in a micrometer-sized ferromagnetic sample. The technique is based on a scanning hard X-ray nanoprobe using X-ray magnetic circular dichroism (XMCD). F
