An ASIC-integrated probe generates large amount of heat compared to that of a conventional probe. That causes to increase surface temperature and to degrade ultrasound diagnostic images in order not to exceed the temperature limits determined by the

ASICs-embedded probes have received more attention due to their many advantages over conventional ultrasound probes. However, these state-of-the art probes generate large amount of heat from ASICs, compared to heat arisen from transducers. In additio

We have suggested that a small momentum spread of photoelectrons and high quantum efficiency can be obtained concurrently by a photocathode using a semiconductor with a superlattice instead of a bulk. We have begun to search for the suitable semicond

We have suggested using a superlattice semiconductor instead of a bulk semiconductor as an NEA-photocathode for small emittance and high quantum yield because the mini-band energy width and high joint density of states at the bottom of the conduction

We developed AlGaAs photocathodes with low electron affinity for long negative electron affinity (NEA) lifetime. AlGaAs photocathodes achieved 10 times longer NEA lifetime than conventional NEA-GaAs photocathodes. We estimated the appropriate superla
