The influence of arsenite (As(III)) adsorption on 3-amino-propyl phosphonic-acid (3APPA) has been investigated using X-ray photoemission spectroscopy (XPS), vibrational IR and Raman spectroscopy. The functional amino group on 3APPA appears to play a
