In this study, we propose a real-time ship anomaly detection method driven by Automatic Identification System (AIS) data. The method uses ship trajectory clustering classes as a normal model and a deep learning algorithm as an anomaly detection tool.

Distributed Stochastic Search Algorithm (DSSA) is one of state-of-the-art distributed algorithms for the ship collision avoidance problem. In DSSA, whenever a ship encounters with any number of other ships (neighboring ships), she will select her cou

The container ship stowage planning problem (CSPP) is a very complex and challenging issue concerning the interests of shipping companies and ports. This article has developed a many-objective CSPP solution that optimizes ship stability and reduces t

To improve the efficiency of in-wharf vessels and out-wharf vessels in seaports, taking into account the characteristics of vessel speeds that are not fixed, a vessel scheduling method with whole voyage constraints is proposed. Based on multi-time co

More than 90% of world trade is transported by sea. The size and speed of ships is rapidly increasing in order to boost economic efficiency. If ships collide, the damage and cost can be astronomical. It is very difficult for officers to ascertain rou

In Coalition Structure Generation (CSG), one seeks to form a partition of a given set of agents into coalitions such that the sum of the values of each coalition is maximized. This paper introduces a model for Probabilistic CSG (PCSG), which extends

International audience; In this work, we approach the issue of privacy in distributed constraint reasoning by studying how agents compromise solution quality for preserving privacy, using utility and game theory. We propose a utilitarian definition o
