Starting from 1,3-dinitro-5-trifluoromethylbenzene, a pioneering synthesis and dimethylaminomethylation of new 2-aryl-4-hydroxy-6-trifluoromethylindoles have been performed. The study of fungicidal activity has revealed the effect of dimethylaminomet
