Two Ti(iv)-oxo sulfate clusters with Ti26 and Ti44 cores were prepared by ionothermal synthesis. A change in ratio between inorganic ligands (tetrahedral SO42-vs. pseudo-tetrahedral PO33-) influences the cluster structure formation behavior.
