Adsorption of water, ammonia, benzene, cumene, cyclohexane and pyridine on dehydrated cation-exchanged zeolites have been investigated by the ESR technique in the Q-band. It was shown that the cations in a zeolite framework are capable of migrating a

Dehydration of cation-exchanged zeolites of the Y type have been investigated by the ESR technique. The exchange of sodium ions with Y 3+ , La 3+ , Zn 2+ , Mg 2+ , Cd 2+ , and Ca 2+ ions ranged from 4 to 70%. The spectra were recorded in the Q band.

IN AN investigation of the polymerization of ethylene on a chromium oxide catalyst [1], we came to the conclusion tha t the activity of the latter is produced by the action of the reacting substance ethylene. The object of the present work was to con

Data are given on the polymerization of ethylene on a chromium oxide catalyst at atmospheric pressure and in the absence of a solvent. It has been established that the temperature curves of the polymerization reaction have a clearly expressed inducti
Publisher Summary For the cracking and hydrogen-transfer reactions, a maximum of activity is established as a function of catalyst composition. The alcohol-dehydration reaction differs materially from the hydrocarbon reaction by the fact that in dehy
