Possible mechanisms of resistance to N. viridula in soybeans ( Glycine max [L.] Merrill), genotype PIl71444, were examined. Antibiosis was evaluated through fifth stadium and whole-life rearing of nymphs on pods of field and greenhouse-grown plants.
