Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is a highly aggressive type of brain tumor with an extremely poor prognosis. Recent evidences have shown that the “biomechanical imbalances” induced in GBM patient-derived glioblastoma cells (GC) and in vivo via the

Nonnegativity of the Moore-Penrose inverse of a perturbation of the form is considered when . Using a generalized version of the Sherman-Morrison-Woodbury formula, conditions for to be nonnegative are derived. Applications of the results are presente

A new class of directed trees is introduced. A formula for the group inverse of the matrices associated with any tree belonging to this class is obtained. This answers affirmatively, a conjecture of Catral et al., for this new class.

We obtain formulae for group inverses of matrices that are associated with a new class of digraphs obtained from stars. This new class contains both bipartite and non-bipartite graphs. Expressions for the group inverse of matrices corresponding to do

A real square matrix A is called a Q-matrix if the linear complementarity problem LCP(A,q) has a solution for all q∈Rn. This means that for every vector q, there exists a vector x≥0 such that y=Ax+...

For real square matrices F , G of the same size with F ≤ G , consider the matrix interval [ F , G ] : = { X : F ≤ X ≤ G } , where the order is defined element wise. It is well known that F and G are invertible M-matrices if, and only if, any ma
