Abstract Background CRISPR Cas9 and Cas12a are the two most frequently used programmable nucleases reported in plant systems. There is now a wide range of component parts for both which likely have varying degrees of effectiveness and potentially app

Plant-associated microbes play vital roles in promoting plant growth and health, with plants secreting root exudates into the rhizosphere to attract beneficial microbes. Exudate composition defines the nature of microbial recruitment, with different

Societal Impact Statement European ash is a significant tree commercially, ecologically, and culturally. It is currently threatened by two invasive species, the fungus that causes ash dieback and the emerald ash borer (EAB) beetle. We show that sapli

Background There are concerns that non‐anatomical resection (NAR) worsens perioperative and oncological outcomes compared with those following anatomical resection (AR) for colorectal liver metastases (CRLM). Most previous studies have been biased

An important prelude to bacterial infection is the ability of a pathogen to survive independently of the host and to withstand environmental stress. The compatible solute trehalose has previously been connected with diverse abiotic stress tolerances,

We describe the performance of high bandwidth-density silicon photonic based integrated circuits (SiPh ICs) that enable the first fully functional photonic engine (PE) module co-packaged with an Ethernet switch. We demonstrate the 1.6 Tbps SiPh trans
