Using angle resolved photoemission spectroscopy measurements of Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+δ over a wide range of doping levels, we present a universal form for the non-Fermi liquid electronic interactions in the nodal direction in the exotic normal state phase.

Recent debates in the literature over the relationship between topology and Extreme Magnetoresistance (XMR) have drawn attention to the Lanthanum Monopnictide family of binary compounds. Angle resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES) is used to me

We perform time- and angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (trARPES) on optimally doped Bi_{2}Sr_{2}CaCu_{2}O_{8+δ} (BSCCO-2212) using sufficient energy resolution (9 meV) to resolve the k-dependent near-nodal gap structure on time scales where

The natural periodic stacking of symmetry-inequivalent planes in layered compounds can lead to the formation of natural superlattices; albeit close in total energy, (thus in their thermodynamic stability), such polytype superlattices can exhibit diff

Recent angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy measurements on strong spin–orbit coupled materials have shown an in-plane orbital-texture switch at their respective Dirac points, regardless of whether they are topological insulators or ‘trivial

Understanding the structure of the wavefunction is essential for depicting the surface states of a topological insulator. Owing to the inherent strong spin‐orbit coupling, the conventional hand-waving picture of the Dirac surface state with a singl

$\ensuremath{\alpha}\ensuremath{-}{\mathrm{RuCl}}_{3}$ has been hinted to be a spin-orbital-assisted Mott insulator in proximity to a Kitaev spin liquid state. Here we present angle-resolved photoemission measurements on single-crystal $\ensuremath{\
Associated with spin-orbit coupling (SOC) and inversion symmetry breaking, Rashba spin polarization opens a new avenue for spintronic applications that was previously limited to ordinary magnets. However, spin polarization effects in actual Rashba sy

The physics of doped Mott insulators remains controversial after decades of active research, hindered by the interplay among competing orders and fluctuations. It is thus highly desired to distinguish the intrinsic characters of the Mott-metal crosso

We point out that the electric field formed in the surface inversion layer in InAs nanowires leads to effective magnetic fields, due to the Rashba effect, that are mostly aligned along the wire axis, i.e., parallel to the external magnetic field B .
