Se describe una nueva especie de Arachis, con hojas trifolioladas, A. sesquijuga. Esta se diferencia de las otras especies trifolioladas, ambas con folíolos ternados, por la presencia de un raquis evidente, lo que caracteriza a la hoja como pinnada.
