[Ir(S2O)(dppe)2]+ reacts with MeOSO2F giving [Ir(η2-S2OMe)(dppe)2]2+ which was characterized by X-ray crystallography and can be converted into [Ir(η1-SOMe)(MeNC)(dppe)2]2+[dppe = 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane].
