Bei einer 28-jahrigen Patientin mit Dysphagie bei doppeltem Aortenbogen mit Osophaguskompression erfolgte eine operative Korrektur. Vier Monate nach dem Eingriff beklagte die Patientin erneut Dysphagie.

Une correction operatoire a ete realisee chez une patiente de 28 ans atteinte de dysphagie et presentant un double arc aortique avec compression œsophagienne. Quatre mois apres l’intervention, elle s’est de nouveau plainte de dysphagie.

Esophagogastric junction (EGJ) barrier function is of fundamental importance in the pathophysiology of gastroesophageal reflux disease. Impaired EGJ barrier function leads to excessive distal esophageal acid exposure or, in severe cases, esophagitis.
