Controlling the output beam of a multimode fiber (MMF) is quite a hot topic currently because it offers several attractive perspectives. Among the various technics used to shape the output beam of a multimode fiber, the adaptive approaches rely on a

A new laser beam phase-locking method based on phase-intensity mapping associated with an iterative optimization algorithm is experimentally demonstrated. A numerical analysis shows its capability to combine efficiently large arrays of laser beams.

We describe the theoretical solution of an approximation problem that uses a finite weighted sum of complex exponential functions. The problem arises in an optimization model for the design of a telescope array occurring within optical interferometry

In this paper, we report the first experimental demonstration of a Temporal HyperTelescope (THT). Our breadboard including 8 telescopes is firstly tested in a manual cophasing configuration on a 1D object. The Point Spread Function (PSF) is measured

We prove a new local convergence property of some primal-dual methods for solving nonlinear optimization problems. We consider a standard interior point approach, for which the complementarity conditions of the original primal-dual system are perturb

International audience; A new approach is proposed for the adaptive phase-locking of a set of parallel laser beams. It is based on an optical conversion of phase differences in the array into an intensity pattern which feeds an optimization algorithm

The aim of the article is to characterize the locally Lipschitz vector-valued functions which are K -quasiconvex with respect to a closed convex cone K in the sense that the sublevel sets are convex. Our criteria are written in terms of a K -quasimon
