Cutaneous mucormycosis of the upper extremity: a series of patients and review of the literature

We present our experience with three cases of cutaneous mucormycosis involving the upper extremity. One patient was on long-term steroid therapy for polymyalgia rheumatica and myelodysplastic syndrome. A second patient had an advanced HIV infection.
