Quadruply γ-cyclodextrin-linked cofacial porphyrin is synthesized from the one-pot reaction of pyrrole and acetylated γ-cyclodextrin 6 A ,6 E -bisbenzaldehyde by the Lindsey's method. Deacetylation affords the water-soluble derivative. Their spectr
