Background Three novel direct oral anticoagulants (DOACs) have recently been registered by the Food and Drug Administration and European Medicines Agency Commission: dabigatran, rivaroxaban, and apixaban. To quantify DOACs in plasma, various dedicate

A study of the magnetic properties of Bi-2212 single crystals in dependence on field, temperature and time has been carried out in fields up to 14T and in the temperature range 1.8-150 K. The field dependence of the critical current and pinning force

Complex AC magnetic susceptibility has been measured on Bi2CaSr2Cu2O8+δ single crystals with hnc, Hdc|c-axis. It will be shown that field, frequency and temperature dependence of both χ′ and χ″ in a constant but sufficiently large DC magnetic

The irreversibility line of an epitaxial YBa 2 Cu 3 O 7−δ film was determined using AC susceptibility experiments. It is shown that the irreversibility line depends on both the amplitude of the AC field and the measuring frequency. We argue that,

Electric and magnetic properties of sintered and compact-zone-melted samples of BiCaSrCuO were measured. The results were interpreted with a theoretical model, in which the samples consist of small superconducting granules weakly coupled by Josephson

The specific heat of BiCaSrCuO has been measured in the temperature range from 0.1 to 1.0 K. The data can be explained as the combined effect of an electronic Schottky anomaly with level splitting of about 1.5 K and another anomaly, presumably of a n

The magnetization has been measured of large crystalline grains prepared from a polycrystalline specimen by slow and oscillating cooling. Anisotropic flux pinning is observed with critical magnetization current densities of the order 105–106 A/cm2.
